Cote d’Ivoire Central District
Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire
The district center property has been purchased on the edge of the city of Yamoussoukro.
This was the home town of the former president who had a replica built of the Basilica in the
city. The streets are wide and the atmosphere inviting as you work and walk along side our
fellow believers in Christ.
The project is to develop a conference center and offices for the district that will become the
national headquarters for the church of the Nazarene in this country. The first phase will be
to build a smaller classroom dormitory on the edge of the property with the goal of
completing the main center with a large conference hall and district offices.
Completion of this project will require 5 teams each contributing $10,000 to the project.
Major foundation work will be done by contractors and then the work and witness teams
will help with laying block, pouring the ring beam, building the roof, and finishing the
interior plus doors and windows. This major project will accomplish the goal of establishing
a permanent presence for the Church of the Nazarene in Cote d’Ivoire.
